Earthquake reported in Southern Iran

Muscat: An earthquake has been reported in Southern Iran on Sunday, according to the Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC), at the Sultan Qaboos University.

A statement issued online by the EMC said : “An earthquake in southern Iran with magnitude of 4.8 ml, at 3:15 am , and at a depth of 12 km. The earthquake was recorded 338 km away from Khasab.”
