Muscat: Parts of the Sultanate, including the Al Hajar Mountains and adjacent wilayats could see rain on Friday, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) said.
In its weather forecast, PACA said: “Clear to partly cloudy skies along coastal areas of Dhofar and mainly clear skies over rest of Sultanate. Chances of late night to early morning low clouds along parts of the coastal areas of Arabian Sea."
The expected maximum and minimum temperatures will be 40 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees in Muscat, 33 degrees and 29 degrees in Salalah, 40 degrees and 34 degrees in Khasab, 44 degrees and 32 degrees in Sohar, 41 degrees and 30 degrees in Sur, 42 degrees and 28 degrees in Nizwa, 45 degrees and 31 degrees in Ibri and 44 degrees and 32 degrees in Buraimi.
The Oman News Agency (ONA), said: “The highest temperature expected on Friday is 45 degrees in the wilayats of Ibri, Amerat and Rustaq and the lowest is 20 degrees in Jabal Shams.”
