Muscat: As per the decision by the Supreme Committee in charge to deal with COVID-19 in the Sultanate, the third package of commercial and industrial activities that are allowed to reopen in the different Governorates of the Sultanate has been announced. These activities are not allowed to reopen in Wilayat Muttrah, Al Wadi Al Kabir Industrial area and inside shopping malls.

Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources in its statement online said, “The following activities which were allowed to carry on its work in the implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee in charge to deal with the prevention of the spread of the coronavirus in the governorates under the supervision of the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources are:

1. Making and copying keys shops (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements)

2. Shoe stores (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

3. Shoe repair and sewing shops (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

4. Shops of selling jewelry, gold, and silver (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

5. Gold and silver wording (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

6. Selling medicinal and natural herbs (allowing customers to enter while achieving physical spacing of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

7. Transaction tracking offices ( allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

8. Language translation offices (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

9. Photocopying shops (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

10. Shops of selling and installing auto glass (allowing customers to enter while achieving physical spacing of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

11. Shops for installing and executing decoration works (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters, and adhering to the attached health requirements.

12. Selling household utensils (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

13. Trading of tailoring supplies (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

14. Buying and selling scrap (allowing customers to enter while achieving physical spacing of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

15. Shops of selling and repairing motorcycles and bicycles (allowing customers to enter while achieving physical spacing of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

16. Digital printing shops (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

17. Calligrapher (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

18. Paper plastic industry (allowing customers to enter while achieving physical spacing of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

19. Glass industry (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

20. Selling photos and frames (allowing customers to enter from achieving a distance of at least two meters, and adhering to the attached health requirements).

21. Selling and installing security and safety devices (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements)

22. Car exhaust repair and vehicle coolant repair (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

23. Exhibitions and companies selling vehicles ( allow entry to customers, while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

24. Cooking utensils industry (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

25. Selling vehicles paints ( allow customers to enter, while achieving physical spacing of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements.)

26. Furniture stores (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

27. Billing service collection offices (allowing customers to enter while achieving physical spacing of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

28. Luxurious stores (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

29. Clothes and sport goods stores (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

30. Selling cosmetics (allowing customers to enter while achieving physical spacing of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

31. Shops selling abayas and sheila (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

32. Ready-made clothes shops (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

33. Shops selling the Omani Masar and Al Kamim (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

34. Children's clothing stores (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

35. Artificial turf shops (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

36. Shops selling perfumes and incense (allowing customers to enter while achieving physical spacing of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

37. Carpet washing shops (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

38. Sale and installation of wallpapers (allowing customers to enter while achieving physical spacing of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

39. Cut and tailor Curtains shops allow customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhere to the attached health requirements).

40. Children's toy stores (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

41. Pottery shops and factories (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

42. Shops selling antiques and gifts (allowing customers to enter while achieving physical spacing of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

43. Shops selling bags and leather goods (allowing customers to enter while achieving physical spacing of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

44. Carpet stores (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

45. Trademark and patent registration offices (allow customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of at least two meters and adhere to the attached health requirements).

46. Building contracting equipment rental shops ( allowing customers to enter while achieving physical spacing of at least two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

47. Communications companies' halls (allowing customers to enter while achieving a physical distance of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

48. Shops selling vehicle accessories ( allowing customers to enter while achieving physical spacing of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

49. Shops selling camel and equestrian supplies (allowing customers to enter while achieving physical spacing of no less than two meters and adhering to the attached health requirements).

“Where the implementation of the decision will be started from tomorrow, Wednesday, June 10, 2020,” the statement added.

The Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources and Muscat Municipality both noted the necessity of the commitment of those involved in the above activities to take the necessary preventive measures, and adherence to the health attached requirements.

The Ministry and Muscat Municipality both confirmed that, ”It will be taken the necessary legal measures in accordance with the laws, decisions, and regulations regulating violators.”
