Baushar records highest reported COVID cases

Muscat: Wilayat Baushar recorded the highest number of new COVID-19 cases reported in Oman on Saturday, 06 June, updated government data has shown.

According to the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 monitoring app, called Tarassud, Baushar reported 334 new cases of the disease, followed by Seeb, with 245 cases. Wilayat Muttrah, which has just been lifted from its health isolation measures, for the most part, reported another 124 cases.

Wilayat Al Amerat reported another 25 cases, while Wilayat Muscat saw another 23. Quriyat reported a further six fresh cases.
