Former long-term Muscat resident passes away

Muscat: A long-term Indian expat who spent decades working in Oman has passed away in Kochi in India, where he had moved to after having retired from work.
P Sasidharan was in Oman for many years, having worked at senior positions in many companies. He retired a few years ago.
A statement from the Indian Social Club in Muscat said: “Mr Sasidharan was the elder brother of Babu Rajendran, the general secretary of the ISC. He is survived by his wife and two daughters. He was active in community welfare activities and supported many social causes in Oman during his tenure here. He was also the vice president of Mamangalam Navjeevan School for Special Needs.”
