Majlis Al Shura hails government's efforts to limit spread of COVID-19

Muscat: Majlis Al Shura Office held on Monday its 12th Regular Meeting of the first annual convening (2019/2020) of the ninth term (2019-2023).
The meeting was chaired by Khalid bin Hilal Al Mawali, Chairman of Majlis Al Shura in the presence of the members of Majlis Al Shura Office and Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Nadabi, Secretary General of Majlis Al Shura .
The meeting discussed the developments of the spread of COVID-19, where the Office followed with the resolutions and measures taken recently by the departments concerned to reduce the number of infected persons and the spread of the virus.
The meeting hailed the efforts of the government, represented by the Supreme Committee tasked with the mechanism to tackle the developments resulting from the spread of COVID-19, which efforts aimed to limit the spread of the virus at the Sultanate's level. The meeting has also praised the appropriate decisions taken by the Supreme Committee aimed to protect citizens and residents from infection.
The meeting also reviewed the letter of the Council of Ministers on the annual ministerial reports for 2019 among other issues.
