Expats detained in Oman for holding funeral ceremony

Muscat: A group of expats have been detained for holding a funeral function in Al Buraimi governorate, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced.

The ROP said in a statement: "Police Headquarters of Al Buraimi Governorate detained a group of expatriates for holding a mourning ceremony. Adminstrative fines were issued against them for violating the decisions and conditions of the Supreme Committee dealing with COVID-19."
