Muscat: Central Bank of Oman (CBO) data show an observed rise in funding offered by the Islamic banking sector to OMR4.1 billion by the end of March 2020.
Also, deposits at Islamic banks and Islamic windows registered an increase of 9 per cent to OMR3.5 billion by the end of March 2020.
Meanwhile, assets of Islamic banks and Islamic windows, collectively, stood at OMR4.8 billion, constituting 14 per cent of total assets of the Sultanate's banking sector by the end of March 2020.
