ROP arrests citizens, expats in North Al Batinah Governorate

Muscat: A number of Omani citizens and expatriates were arrested in North Al Batina Governorate for violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee to dealing with the COVID-19.

A statement issued online by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said, “The North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command arrested a number of citizens on charges of gathering in public places, and arrested a number of other expatriates to practice the tailoring activity and violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee to dealing with COVID-19.”

“An administrative violations against them were issued against them,” the statement added.
