Muscat: Most parts of the Sultanate will have clear skies today, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) said.
In its weather forecast, PACA said: “Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chances of convection clouds development and occasional thunderstorms accompanied with fresh winds over Al Hajar Mountains and adjoining areas during the afternoon and evening. This may extend to the coastal areas of Oman Sea. Chance of late night to early morning low clouds along coastal areas of Arabian Sea and Sea of Oman.”
The expected maximum and minimum temperatures will be 38 degrees Celsius and 31 degrees in Muscat, 32 degrees and 27 degrees in Salalah, 38 degrees and 30 degrees in Khasab, 36 degrees and 29 degrees in Sohar, 40 degrees and 29 degrees in Sur, 34 degrees and 28 degrees in Masirah, 42 degrees and 30 in Rustaq, 41 degrees and 30 degrees in Buraimi, 41 degrees and 30 in Ibri, 41 degrees and 27 degrees in Nizwa and 43 degrees and 27 in Haima.
The Oman News Agency (ONA), said: “The highest temperature expected on Tuesday is 42 degrees in Ibri in Al Dhahirah Governorate, and the lowest is 19 degrees in Jabal Shams.
