Three arrested in Oman for smuggling drugs

Muscat: Three people of Arab nationality were arrested for attempting to smuggle the khat drug in Dhofar Governorate.

A statement issued online by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), said: “Coast Guard Police boats, led by the Dhofar Governorate Police, arrested three people of Arab nationality and thwarted an attempt to smuggle khat drugs off the shores of Al Maghssil after recovering them from the sea. Legal procedures are completed against them.”
