Inspector-General of Police and Custom sends Eid wishes to His Majesty

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has received a cable of greetings from Lt.Gen Hassan bin Mohsin Al-Shraiqi, Inspector-General of Police and Custom on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said, "His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik yesterday received a cable of greetings from Hassan bin Mohsin al-Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, reading as follows:

"I am honoured, and so are the personnel of Royal Oman Police, to send Your Majesty the best greetings, along with the best wishes of blessing on this happy occasion of Eid Al Fitr, praying to the Almighty Allah for many joyous returns of the occasion for Your Majesty and the people of Oman. It was the Almighty’s mercy that, despite the pandemic that prevailed in all countries of the world, the fasting of Ramadhan for Muslims in this dear country has been a light experience, hopefully with doubled divine reward."

Lt.Gen Hassan Al-Shraiqi added that, " Your Majesty's Royal Oman Police personnel have exhibited a high sense of responsibility in adapting to these exceptional circumstances of the pandemic and competed to alleviate its impacts, as Your Majesty has prepared them to do. They doubled efforts in serving their people and their homeland in an epic march of solidarity with the nation, motivated by true love to Oman and sincere service under Your Majesty’s patronage, while at the same time seeking the reward of the Almighty Allah for their good deeds."

Lt.Gen Hassan Al-Shraiqi also said, "May Allah protect Your Majesty and grant you good health and happiness. Happy Eid, Your Majesty.”
