Three houses raided for violation Supreme Committee's decisions

Muscat: Two residential houses in Muscat Governorate while the third one in South Al Batinah Governorate were raided for violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee dealIng with COVID-19.

A statement issued online by Muscat Municipality said, "In coordination with Public prosecutor, Muscat Municipality has raided two residential houses in wilayat of Seeb, one of them used for unauthorised storage activity and another one for used by expatriates to practice the tailoring in light of the closure of women's tailor shops.”

In another statement, Government Communication Center (GC), said, "In cooperation with the Royal Oman Police (ROP), Barka Municipality has raided an apartment house used by expatriate workers to practice the tailoring in light of the closure of women's tailor shops as precautionary measures during the coronavirus outbreak. All tools and equipment were confiscated and legal procedures completed against violators."
