Muscat: Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested seven expats on the charge of violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19.

A statement issued online by ROP said, "Muscat Governorate Police Command arrested seven expatriates in wilayat of Qurayyat, on charges of practising sewing profession. Legal action has been taken against the violators."

Meanwhile, Muscat Governorate Police Command also arrested three expatriates in wilayat of Qurayyat, on charges of offering services such as shaving which is a violation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee who deals with COVID-19. Legal procedures will be taken against the violators."
