Ahli Bank’s CSR initiatives bring cheer to charity associations

Muscat: Celebrating the spirit of holy month of Ramadan, Ahli Bank has extended support to a number of charity associations in line with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The CSR initiative is a key social welfare programme lined up by Ahli Bank to mark the holy month of Ramadan. In keeping with the spirit of giving during Ramadan, the bank presented OMR10,000 to 10 different charity associations across Oman. Vouchers were presented to Al Suwaiq Charity team, Ibri Charity team, Al Buraimi Volunteer team, Nizwa Charity team, Giving with Start team-Ibra, Social Development Committee-Sohar, Barka Charity team, Salalah Charity team, Oman Charitable Organisation-Saada and Sur Charity team by the respective Branch Managers in appreciation of their commendable work towards the community.
Commenting on the CSR initiative, Muneer Al Balushi, AGM-Head of Retail Distribution, Retail Banking said, “Ahli Bank has been very proactive in incorporating elements of CSR into its core activities. The CSR policy intends to create a framework that helps in value creation for all stakeholders. The social welfare initiatives during the Holy Month of Ramadan are aimed at supporting charity associations, who are engaged in doing pioneering work in their respective areas benefitting the community.”
