Muscat: The Governorate of Muscat has recorded 232 new cases of coronavirus.
On the other hand, after having announced the recovery of all six cases in Musandam Governorate, a new case of coronavirus was registered today.
In last 24 hours, four deaths due to COVID-19 has been reported in Muscat governorate bringing the death toll to 22 in the governorate, 14 of them from wilayat of Muttrah, 6 from Seeb and 2 deaths from wilayat Baushar.
The number of coronavirus cases registered in the Sultanate has reached 5671. In terms of the ranking of the wilayats that recorded the most coronavirus infections, Muttrah comes first with 2,625 cases, followed by wilayat of Baushar with 782, wilayat of Seeb recorded 733 cases, 213 cases in Barka and 138 in the wilayat of Jalan Bani Bu Ali.
