Expats arrested in Oman

Muscat: Dhofar Municipality has arrested some expatriate workers on charges of violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee.

A statement issued online by Government Communication Centre (GC), said: "Dhofar Municipality, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police, arrested expatriate workers who were selling ready-made clothes in residential neighborhoods in wilayat of Salalah, which is contrary to the decisions of the Supreme Committee in light of the closure of sewing shops as precautionary measures during the coronavirus outbreak ."
