
Muscat: Sixty-four persons, accused of various theft related crimes, have been taken into police custody in the month of April, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said.
In a statement, the ROP said, "64 defendants, who committed 61 thefts in various governorates of the Sultanate were arrested in the month of April.
The police praised the cooperation of citizens and residents in uncovering these crimes, stressing at the same time, the need to take the necessary precautions to secure their properties.
