Confirmed COVID-19 cases top 30,000 in Pakistan

The tally of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Pakistan has crossed more than 30,000, according to latest data released on the website of the health ministry.

However, the country has began easing of the lockdown imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19.

More than 11,000 cases have so far been detected in the country's southern province Sindh and eastern province and estern province Punjab.

8,000 and more patients have so far recovered, while the death toll has crossed rge mark of 650.
