UAE envoy hails relations with Oman

Muscat: Mohammed Sultan Al Suwaidi, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) accredited to the Sultanate, described the relation between Oman and his country as historic.

In a statement to Oman News Agency he reaffirmed that the relation between the two countries was established on the support of the leaders of the two countries; His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik and His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The Sultanate has immense economic and investment capabilities, he said pointing to the coordination between the two countries in a number of investment fields, mainly in the fields of agriculture and fisheries.

"There is continued coordination in the field of combating the use of chemicals in agricultural lands in the two countries cooperation" he added.
