Coronavirus: Muttrah has maximum cases in Muscat Governorate

Muscat: The wilayat of Muttrah has seen the maximum number of COVID-19 cases in Muscat Governorate since the beginning of the pandemic in February this year, data from the Ministry of Health has revealed.

Statistics made available on Tarassud, the coronavirus monitoring app launched by the ministry, showed that a total of 1,307 cases of COVID-19 have been uncovered in Muttrah, 1,094 of these continue to receive treatment, while 205 have recovered and 8 patients have died from this disease.

Al Seeb, with 188 cases, comes second in Muscat governorate. Among these 140 continue to remain infected, while 45 people have recovered and 3 patients have died from the disease.

In Bawshar, there are a total of 126 cases of COVID-19 while Al Amerat has registered 31 cases in total.

In the wilayat of Muscat, A total of 14 people have so far caught the disease, 4 of them have recovered.

The total cases in Muscat governorate is 1,668, of whom 302 have recovered, 1,355 continue to receive treatment and 11 patients have died so far.
