Government releases data on isolation centres in Oman

Muscat: A total of 27 institutional isolation centres have been set up in various governorates of the Sultanate and are being supervised by the relief and shelter sector.

A statement issued online by the Government Communication Center (GC), said: "There are 8 centres which are allocated for housing persons suspected to have Covid-19 and there are 64 people inside them."

"There are 9 centres which are allocated for uninfected individuals and there are around 359 individuals inside them."

"There are 10 centres which are allocated for coronavirus infected individuals and there are 374 patients inside them," the statement added.
