Expats caught for violation of Supreme Committee rules in Oman

Muscat: The South Al Sharqiyah municipality has arrested workers who were sewing clothes inside a house, in contravention of the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with the coronavirus.

The Municipality said in a statement: "The municipality of Ja'alan Bani Bu Ali raided a private house and expatriate workers were caught practicing women's clothing sewing activity. The raid was done with the participation of members of the Royal Oman Police after obtaining permission from the public prosecutor, where violators were referred to the public prosecutor to take the necessary legal measures."
