2.5 tonnes of instituitional waste produced in Oman

Muscat: Institutional isolation centres produce 2.5 tonnes of waste every day, be'ah announced.

Oman Environmental Services Holding company, be'ah, has said in a statement, "We continue our efforts in preventing the spread of COVID-19 through our operations in managing waste collected from quarantine centres.

"Our HCW treatment facilities receive around 2.5 tonnes of waste collected from the 40 quarantine centres around the Sultanate every day."
