6,580 tons of vegetables arrive at Al Mawaleh Central Market

Muscat: Around 6,580 tons of vegetables and fruits have arrived in Al Mawaleh Central Market.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said: "Around 6,580 tons of vegetables and fruits have arrived to Al Mawaleh Central Market. Products are available in large and varied quantities."

The market will receive more than 40 shipments during the peak period before Eid.

Othman bin Ali Al-Hattali, Director of Al Mawaleh Central Market for Vegetables and Fruits in the Municipality of Muscat confirmed in a statement to Oman News Agency (ONA): "More than 35 shipments are reaching to the market per day and it will increase to more than 40 shipments during peak period before Eid."

"The central market has started development work for the facilities, which includes the gates, increasing parking space and a group of improvement works inside and outside the market," he added.
