Video on expat workers escaping is fake: ROP

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has denied what is circulated in social media about a group of expat workers escaping in Muscat Governorate.

A statement issued online by ( ROP ), said: “ There is no truth about a group of expat workers escaping as seen in a video clip which has been circulated on social media."

The statement clarified that: “The truth is that they were dispersed by police patrols after they gathered to withdraw cast at an ATM machine in the industrial area of Misfat, Bawshar.”
