Government issues statement on coronavirus rumours

Muscat: Referring to the news that is being circulated in social media about the transfer of persons infected with Coronavirus from wilayat Ja`lan Bu Ali to Wilayat Sur, the Government Communication Centre (GCC) clarified that the medical response and public health sector, and the relief and accommodation sector are allocating a unified centre to isolate all infected cases with Coronavirus in all governorates.

A statement issued online by (GCC) said, "The medical response and public health sector and the relief and accommodation sector are allocating a unified centre to isolate all infected cases with Coronavirus in all governorates based on the rules of the Supreme Committee to deal with developments resulting from the spread of the Coronavirus."
