Free webinar to shed light on business practices during COVID-19

Muscat:To ensure people in Oman can continue to work while protecting themselves from the effects of COVID-19, a webinar has been organised on Monday, 20 April.
The event, which will be held by Oman Expo, in collaboration with the ministry of health, will see health and industry specialists in Oman and the region provide advice on how to ensure safe workplace practices, good mental health, and enable companies to bounce back stronger from events that strongly impact their performance.
“Organized by Oman Expo with the involvement of the Ministry of Health EY and International SOS, the ‘Steering a Business through COVID – 19’ webinar will provide insightful and practical information about public health, healthcare, innovations, trends, developments in healthcare to our health and medical communities and our customers,” said a statement from the company.
Speaking at the webinar will be Dr Dr. Eskild Petersen Special advisor to the Ministry of Heath, Sultanate of Oman, who will discuss mitigating the risks of COVID-19 within workspaces, and Dr. Marie-Louise Van Eck Regional Medical Director, International SOS, who will provide advice on how to maintain strong mental resilience during times such as this, when our daily routine and immediate plans are likely to face plenty of disruption.
Also taking part in the event will be Mohamed Nayaz, partner, Africa, India & Middle East Advisory Services, Ernst & Young (EY), Oman. He will share plans on how companies can recover from the impact of global events such as the novel coronavirus.
