Citizens arrested for wildlife hunting

Muscat: Wildlife protection officials have arrested two Omani citizens who hunted an Arabian gazelle in North Al Sharqia Governorate.

A statement issued online by Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs said, "Wildlife monitors at the General Directorate of Environment and Climate Affairs in North Al Sharqia Governorate, in cooperation with wildlife monitors at the Office of Environmental Protection at the Diwan of Royal Court, have arrested two Omani citizens who hunted the Arabian gazelle. All the seizures were confiscated and referred to take legal action against them."
