COVID-19 sampling process begins in Muttrah

Muscat: Oman’s Ministry of Health has begun the process of collecting medical samples from residents and citizens in Muttrah, to see if they test positive for COVID-19.
According to the Oman News Agency, those citizens and residents in Muttrah who showed symptoms of the novel coronavirus were approached to provide samples as part of the ministry’s medical survey process.
Medical teams will continue to test people in Muttrah as well as update the survey results on a daily basis, until all locals and expats in Muttrah have been tested.
