Muscat:The Government Communications Centre (GCC) has announced on Saturday, April 11, 2020 that the news being circulated about COVID-19 cases among expatriates in Wilayat Nizwa is a rumour.
A statement issued online by (GCC) said that "there is no truth of what is being circulated about cases of COVID-19 among expatriates in Karsha Industrial in Wilayat Nizwa."
“We also direct all to take information from official sources and to avoid spreading false and misleading rumours and news,” the statement added.
