Police performs a successful rescue operation

Muscat: An Asian person was rescued and taken to the hospital after being swept away in Dhofar Governorate by the Coast Guard police.

This was announced by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) on their official Twitter handle.

"A marine rescue team led by the Coast Guard police rescues an Asian person after being swept away by the sea offshore in Raysut area in Dhofar Governorate. The necessary first aid was provided to him and he was transferred by police ambulance to the Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah to perform the checks and complete his treatment," the ROP said in a statement online.
