What is meant by locking-down Muscat governorate?

Muscat: Muscat Governorate will be closed on April 10 at 10am for a period of 12 days until April 22. These are details of the lockdown.

1. Those in the Governorate of Muscat shall remain inside the Governorate.

2. Those outside the Governorate of Muscat shall remain outside the Governorate.

3. The priority for movement between Governorates will be given to provide basic services and ensure the availability of all basic goods and materials.

4. Everything will be normal inside Muscat Governorate.The stores and shops that were announced to remain open earlier will remain as they are.

5. Adequate stocks of foods and consumables are also available in stores and shops, there is no need to stockpile groceries.

6. Movement is allowed if only necessary; stay home and adhere to the instructions of the Ministry of Health.
