Blood donors required urgently

Muscat: A shortage of donors has prompted the Department of Blood Banks Services to call for urgent blood donations in Bausher on Thursday.

A statement issued online by the DBBS called for A-ve and B-ve blood group holders to donate blood at the Central Blood Bank because of the low number of donors in these and other blood types.

The statement requested potential donors to contact the blood bank to book an appointment for blood donation by calling 94555648.
