OCCI requests private sector companies to tackle coronavirus crisis in Oman

Muscat: All private sector companies should be prepared for the worst conditions taking into consideration the continuation of the precautionary measures to tackle the Covid-19 crisis for a period of three months until mid-June.

A statement issued online by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), said, “Along with the Supreme Committee, the Chamber calls to all private sector companies to be prepared for undesirable conditions while making decisions regarding their financial forecasts, calculating financial flows and other needs, based on the continuation of precautionary measures for a period of three months until mid-June.”

“Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry expresses its gratitude and appreciation to the private sector, individuals and institutions for their interaction, interest, national sense, and their rapid response by providing all support and assistance to face the current crisis that the country is going through,” the statement added.
