Covid-19: This region in Oman recorded highest number of violations

Muscat: South Al Batinah recorded the highest numbers of violations to the decisions of Supreme Committee in charge to deal with COVID-19 in the Sultanate.

A statement issued online by the Ministry of Municipalities and Water Resources said: “South Al Batinah governorate has recorded 88 violations, North Al Batinah governorate has recorded 32, 25 violations were recorded in Al Buraimi governorate, Dhofar governorate has recorded 24 and Al Dakhliyah governorate has recorded 17.”

“South Al Sharqiyah governorate has recorded 15, Al Dhahirah governorate has recoded 14, North Al Sharqiyah governorate has recorded 7 violations, Al Wusta governorate has recorded 4 violations and Musandam governorate has recorded two violations.”

According to the Ministry, these establishments did not comply with the decisions issued by the Supreme Committee.
