Muscat: National Gas Company said that the company’s board has decided to terminate the services of its chief executive officer Goutam Sen. He was under suspension from February 2014.
“Further to the disclosure made by the company on February 11, 2014 with respect to the suspension of the chief executive officer, Goutam Sen, the company wishes to inform the shareholders that in the board of directors meeting held on February 15, 2016, it has been decided to terminate the services of Goutam Sen with immediate effect,” the company said in a stock market filing.
The company disclosed in February 2014 that its chief executive had been detained over suspected bribes paid to a government official.
