2,000 people in institutional quarantine in Oman

Muscat: About 2000 people who came from abroad are under institutional isolation, the Government Communication Center (GC) informed on Sunday.

In a statement GC said: “The number of people coming from abroad have been provided with institutional isolation. There are people who do not have adequate conditions for isolation at home and there are approximately 2000 such cases."

Institutional health isolation is in designated locations that are under the observation of Ministry of Health and the isolation period is for 14-days.
