Special platform set up in Oman for buying fish

Muscat: A special platform to enable people to buy fish from the Central Fish Market in Al Fulaij has been set up with the aim of reducing crowding.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries said in a statement: "In cooperation with the Omani Fund for Technology, we announce the launch of a Behar platform (behar.market) to buy fish from the central fish market in Al Fulaij. It will be an integrated electronic platform with sales via remote auction, with the aim of reducing the risks of crowding during the COVID-19 outbreak."
