Coronavirus: 800 citizens set to return to Oman from US and Canada

Muscat: About 800 Omani citizens living in US and Canada have expressed their desire to return to the Sultanate, the embassy in Washington said on Saturday.

A statement issued online by the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Washington said: “We have contacted several domestic and international airlines operating in US and Canada. After discussing several options, we have agreed with a commercial airline to operate two of its flights to Oman with about 800 citizens on Monday, March 30, 2020.”
