18 new coronavirus cases reported in Oman

MUSCAT: The Ministry of Health has announced the registration of 18 new coronavirus cases.

"All 18 are citizens of Oman and 11 cases are linked to contact with infected patients. 5 of the cases are related to travel from the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates and 2 cases are under epidemiological investigation," the Ministry of Health said in a statement.

This brings the total in Oman to 84 cases and 17 patients with COVID-19 have recovered.
