Oman's health ministry denies rumours of Coronavirus pesticide

Muscat: The Ministry of Health has quashed rumours of pesticides being sprayed to combat the spread of COVID-19.

The Ministry was commenting on a rumour being circulated on social media which said that military helicopters would spray pesticides against the coronavirus and advised people to stay in their homes past midnight on Monday.

There will be no such operations.
