Muscat: GCC Blues defeated GCC Whites to lift the Veterans Cup title at the Gulf Cricket Centre (GCC) Annual Day Cricket Tournament organised at Al Ghubra Power Plant ground here recently.
The tournament was organised as part of Gulf Cricket Center’s 20th Annual Day celebrations.
Batting first, GCC Whites scored 76 for the loss of five wicket in eight overs with Yogi scoring 30 and Latif contributing 17. For GCC Blues, Idrees, Kaisar and Chaudhary took one wicket each.
In reply, GCC Blues achieved their target in the seventh over with Sanjit scoring 29 runs and Pushpender an unbeaten 29.
