Sayyid Fahd receives US ambassador to Oman

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers received today Marc J. Sievers, the US Ambassador to the Sultanate.
Conversation during the meeting dealt with the existing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing them in various spheres.
The meeting reviewed the latest developments at the regional and international arenas, and efforts exerted to contain their impact on peace to enable peoples enjoy stability and continue developing.
The USA Ambassador expressed his country's satisfaction with the existing cooperation between the two countries and the desire to promote it to serve the joint interests of the two friendly peoples.
He praised the Sultanate's pivotal and important role in supporting the constructive dialogue to deal with the current issues, which earned the Sultanate respect and appreciation.
