Oman confirms six new cases of coronavirus cases

The total number of people infected by the novel coronavirus in Oman has risen to 12 after the Ministry of Health reported six fresh cases on Tuesday.

“The registration of six new cases of COVID-19 has been reported and is related to travel to the Islamic Republic of Iran. Four of the infected are of Iranian nationality and two are citizens, all of whom are subject to quarantine.” - Ministry of Health

The Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Saeedi, said two of those in Oman who had contracted the disease had been cured.

Both of them had been subject to home-based quarantine.
