Omani entrepreneurs hold meetings with Rwandan counterparts

Kigali: B2B meetings were held at the Kigali Exhibition Center in Rwanda, between Omani businessmen and businesswomen and entrepreneurs and their counterparts from the Republic of Rwanda within the activities of the 10th Omani Products Exhibition currently taking place in Rwanda.
During the bilateral meetings, the prospects for enhancing trade and investment cooperation between the two sides were discussed by addressing the potentials for obtaining commercial partnerships between them and familiarising with the procedures of export and import and mechanisms to and from Rwanda.
They also addressed the potential of obtaining marketing outlets, agents and distributors for their products in the Rwandan market and neighbouring markets to increase the volume of Omani exports.
Ayman bin Abdullah Al-Hasani, Chairman of Opex Organising Committee said that the bilateral meetings witnessed a great turnout of 200 Rwandan businessmen, to meet their Omani counterparts to cooperate in many industrial and investment fields in terms of establishing commercial partnerships and building factories in Africa. He pointed out that the African market is large and promising.
He added in a statement to Oman News Agency (ONA) that the bilateral meetings are an important platform for businessmen during the exhibition, as it allows Omani businessmen to meet with their counterparts from the Rwandan side to discuss the potentials of export, cooperation and partnerships and obtain agents and distributors for their products in the Rwandan market and neighbouring markets.
Ayman Al-Hasani expressed his hope that these meetings will culminate in real partnerships to raise the volume of Omani exports during the upcoming period, as Omani products are in demand in the Rwandan market and enjoy global specifications.
On the other hand, the Omani products exhibition currently being held in Rwanda, organised by the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates, the Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development and Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is witnessing a large turnout of visitors to learn about the diversity and high quality of Omani products.
