Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman airlifted supplies to a hard-to-reach town which is surrounded by rough terrain, the Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
A helicopter was deputed for the task of carrying supplies to the town of Tamah in the Al Jabal Al Abyad, in North Al Sharqiyah.
"These efforts come within the framework of the continued services and humanitarian aid provided by the Sultan's Armed Forces to citizens," the ONA said.
The delivery of materials to the citizens living in such places is difficult by land due to the rough roads.
