Muscat: The Ministry of Health has quashed rumours circulating about a new case of coronavirus infection in Dhofar governorate. The Ministry confirmed that this information is incorrect and said that legal measures would be taken against those who publish or spread this rumour.

In a statement, the Ministry said, “There is a message currently being circulated about a case of the new Coronavirus in Dhofar governorate. The Ministry confirms that this is incorrect and all legal measures will be taken against the rumour publishers.”
The Ministry called on everyone to refer to official sources before publishing any information.
