Muscat: In a major achievement, the Royal Cavalry of Royal Court Affairs secured the second place in the statistics published by France Galop, the regulating organisation of horse races in France. The France Galop statistics show the top results the Royal Cavalry’s horses achieved.
The Royal Cavalry won the second place, with one victory less than Al Shaqab Stables of Qatar. As per the statistics, the Royal Cavalry’s horses won 13 races and achieved 28 top results in various races last season.
The Royal Cavalry is also the only organisation in the Arab countries that won 10 French races by crowning Alsaker with three times, Sylvine AlMaury two wins, Karimah one win, Nafees one win, Worood one win, Djakiri Safinat one win and Vulcain Du Clos one win.
The Royal Cavalry is also the only Arabic organisation that owns 11 Arabian horses with 44 plus points and credited with international classification of 100 plus points.
To add to the honours was Sylvine Al Maury (54 points) named the best filly in the world in 2015 while stallion Alsaker (53.5), stallion Volcan De Close (50.5), stallion Nafees (50), mare Samima (50.5), mare Almuhannad (49.5), Djakiri Safinat (48), mare Karimah (47.5), filly Dhabab (45.5) and stallion Sadah (44) were also among the top performers.
The Royal Cavalry owns Al Muhannad, the only mare in the world that won Group I races of three year old horses. Al Muhannad won three times in Group I at Newbury racecourse in the UK.
