Weather alert: Fog cover over some parts of Oman, visibility is poor

Muscat: If you’re heading outside, watch out for fog formation over some parts of Oman.

The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACP) issued an alert for fog formation in some parts the country which can lead to poor visibility.

“Clear to partly cloudy skies with advection of dust and haze over most of the Sultanate, with chances of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches over Al Buraimi and Al Dahirah governorates,” PACA said in a statement.

“Wind will be northwesterly light to moderate occasionally fresh over most of the sultanate and the authority is alert to poor visibility during dust and fog formation.” PACA added.
